The Stage
The Stage and Hall seemed so big then, its amazing
how they crammed so much into the school.
The school play. Oh dear. All I can remember of this is being
made to sit in a line on the end of the stage and we came on at
the end and sang an interminably song which ended every verse
with'.....and James was a very small snail.' James smedley had
every finger pointed at him by all us kids (as instructed by Miss),
